Since June18 the UK media has been running countless stories that seek to portray the campaigners involved as violent extremists, they ignore the reasons for the demonstrations and the huge variety of peaceful protests that occurred across the world. The most outrageous allegations have been made by journalists working for The Sunday Times.

The Sunday Times has in fact run a series of articles which appear to be deliberately written to try and isolate specific campaigns from the wider public support they receive. They have attacked genetics campaigners and more recently the group Reclaim The Streets

The most outrageous article printed by the Sunday Times included claims that were so extreme, it even prompted other newspapers to question the legitimacy and motives of the Sunday Times itself.
