About these works... Photographer Gillian McIver works as a video and installation artist, and is based in London, UK. Due to her work and interest in international art projects, she travels widely and uses her knowledge and training in Photography to record images of many interesting places. She does not consider herself a "Photographer" but simply a user of the camera - a recorder of points in a journey. Her interest in recording place is an integral part of her fine art practice, which is site-responsive. She has an interest in history, archaeology and architecture of place, in psychogeography and the fleeting nature of the moment.
