SORRY !

"Knowing me, knowing you" shows one of a sequence of PET scan images taken in slices running up through the artists head and back again so as to create a pulsating heart. The image depicts the artist literally thinking about the difference between pattern and colour. The more intense the colour the more active the region of the brain was when performing the task. The artist underwent four hours of scanning, including radioactive oxygen 15 isotopes introveineously whilst responding to a seies of coloured and patterned screens on a monitor- a process which enabled a concentration of thought over a given period on a single cognative process.
