TO use the portable mountains, hold it up to any landscape or view that you feel would benefit from having a mountain added and view that landscape through the perspex around the mountain image My work at the moment uses mountains as a symbol for tourism and escapism, coming from London and living in southern England where the landscape is mostly flat and the hills roll, the mountain holds a fascination for me, and has sent me on a search to see one in 'real' life, this lead me to the Matterhorn in the Alps, I wanted to bring this mountain back to the people that may never get the chance to see it, so that they can also experience a sensation of having been there, and it is part of my plight to 'experience' the wonders of the world without having to actually endure the difficult part emilywebber@hotmail.com
