skins welded themselves to the rails, to the tracks and the passengers to the carriages, all linked to skins of passage that grafted to information skins forming a net over the skin of the city.
Johnny ran a hot bath, removed his clothing skin and climbed in. He opened up his Phaedron book at the page with The Flailing of Saint Bernard and placed it on the soap rack. It was after several top ups that his skin began to wrinkle, first at the finger tips and progressively over his whole body. He began by untying the knot deep in his naval. When his skin was slack enough it was possible to make an aperture of sufficient size to hook his knee through and step out. He keeps it on a hanger behind his studio door.
