Whilst in the depths of the Peruvian jungle, in search of the hallucinogenic drug yage, Ace and Professor Goldring come across a condominium, the hideaway retreat of Abstract Expressionist Jackson Pollock. They discover that rather than dying in a car crash in 1956 he faked his own death and sought solitude away from the frantic demands of the international art world.
Ace is surprised to learn that Pollock departed from the "drip style" and went on to paint a series of highly detailed figurative paintings. "The puppy dogs, cats and flowers are my favourite" says Jackson.
But the net is tightening around the octogenarian Pollock, and Ace soon becomes involved in a battle to save Jackson and his new thing from the Colombian drug barons and the evil Krisner Pollock Foundation.
