Many times in the past Marion Wyling, from the Scandinavian Space Research Administration, had laughed gently at the paradoxical question: "Am I the dream or is the dream dreaming me ?"

But after she created a computer simulation of one of her own reoccurring dreams in her Bergen laboratory, Marion discovered that sleep is the porthole into a thousand dimensions as real as our own. After the wall between those worlds was demolished, the contradictory worlds of dreams began to infect the awake world. After this cataclysm the question really must be "Is this a dream......?"
