Koral Island and Stripe are Poets of the Machine, we have been performing together since 1988 in the UK and Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

We are collaborators, writing in a reciprocal manner, our words show a lack of interest in the more obsessive themes beloved of poets - dead or alive - and more enthusiasm for:

In performance we interface with this technology.

Described as 'too slick, too sharp' for poetry readings, we play them to rapturous response, 'too wordy' for music nights yet...' refreshing', we are not a band! Critics say 'this is not poetry', truth is we are not just poetry, we are 'a whole new form ... '
