the Last Layer
video installation for four TV monitors and mirror. All project, multilayered cyclic dialogue of TV camera and reproducing equipment, was an extended in time dialog of two artists: the author, working with tactile cognizable environment, and Jury Sobolev, working with a surface as a multilayered structure. With a leaving of one of the participants of the dialog all work has changed the system of coordinates and was opened, flowing away to a zone of incomprehensible. Not only polyscreen time becomes multi-dimensional but also the inner space of a mirror corridor.
