"Out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest
my voice" (Jonah 2:2)
Eran Tsafrir's installation, "Out of the belly of hell cried I, and
thou heardest my voice" explored transience in life and notions of
human bravery and sacrifice, as reflected in the "Kursk" submarine
disaster of August 2000 in which 118 Russian submariners lost their lives.
