Born in the UK, moved to Canada aged 7. Studied history, literature and philosophy in Canada; she then studied film-making and video in London. Since 1997, the Artist has participated in a number of exhibitions in the UK and Russia.

She is a member of art group Luna Nera, involved in site-specifc mixed media art. She makes experimental documentaries and photoessays as well as working with performers in video projects.
