UK Critical Mass
Over 600 cyclists this morning showed communters in the City of London the way to a better future, when they held a 'critical mass' protest ride.
Demonstrators honked horns and encouraged workers to "phone in sick" and join the protest. Kids waved, and the early morning sunlight glinted on hundreds of bicycle wheels.
Departing at 7.45am to catch the morning rush hour, cyclists occupied Bank station for a short period. "They're quite right to target capitalism," one commuter was heard to say.
