Field Study originates from a decision made in 1993 to reclaim the negative spaces on a c.v. ie the gaps. By reclaiming these gaps, time is understood as being whole and continuous- this we call 'the field'. Thoughts formulated from the data gathered from the field are termed "field study". Everyone is welcome to become a member of Field Study irrespective of art practice and at present we have over a hundred UK and international members. Send SAE for more details.
