lee gammon The "mysterious, unopenable" parcels represent hidden treasures, myths and legends which are being forgotten. Valuable clues to our collective unconcious, wrapped up, camouflaged, passed on or sold without their function realised or respected. Each parcel is hand-made and unique. My main body of work consists of hand-made books, although my manipulation of paper, fabric and wood often spills over into other areas. I use the best method available to me at the time to convay my message. I am very interested in developing alternative spaces for exhibiting and selling Art Works, especially when it can breakdown the barriers between the "Art World" and the public.
