My practice is investigating the interaction between nature and culture. I combine organic and synthetic materials: e.g:- my piece 'Electroponic', a work using flower heads preserved in synthetic multiples; tended by an electro-nucleus, rythmically bringing into bloom a bed of virtual flowers. Complementing my sculpturalpractice is an ephemeral one e.g:- I mapped the shadows cast by the sun and moon over 24 hours, within an urban enclosed space.
