Anne Barrell is a ceramaic artist, working in a unique and modern way with trditional English materials. Bowls, plates, plarques, tiles and artefacts are influenced by the sea and landscape, especially the wild Cornish coastline where Anne returns each year to work and teach. Clay is beaten into rounded forms echoing the cliff face or curve of a hill. Colours reflect the sea and earth.
