The Process

The work was all created only for the event. Most of the work was made on the site using materials specific to the site and/or the locality.

The artists created individual and collaborative works in different areas of the site, coming together to present a complete environmental transformation of the site, using the natural factors of light, wind and water. The works used the elements available on the site, many of which were unpredictable: found objects, weather (wind, rain, sun), the river.

None of the artistic works that were shown can be re-created or re-exhibited for consumption, and exist now only on photograph, video, and memory. This is the essence of site-specific work.
